English Cherry Tree Manor - Tamahere

The beautiful tree-lined driveway sets a picturesque scene, yet the hotel feels overgrown and in need of attention. The room was small but clean and the bed comfortable, although the outdated decor was nice. The breakfast included a lovely cheese selection.

Enjoyed Tamahere, the hotel was charming old by a large English garden. The dining room was perfect for breakfast. It was bright, perfect and with a view. The personnel were attentive and affable and made me feel welcome. Location: the venue was close to lush gardens.

The location offered was handy right by restaurants, very large garden and beautiful grounds with a lot of history. Liked staying at the double room with a beautiful view of the garden.

What a good escape! Nestled in a garden paradise, I was enchanted by the charming surroundings and serene ambiance. Anne's warm hospitality. Feeding the alpacas was a unique touch that brought smiles and memories during our special anniversary getaway.

The location was particularly good, the staff were attentive. Btw, the airport was 0.5 miles away. The room was beautiful & perfect with the garden and a beautiful view, as for instance.

The garden views were beautiful, but the reception felt a bit cold.

the decor was a bit old-fashioned,, but the gardens were stunning and super well-maintained! breakfast was delicious with fresh juice and a great variety, and the comfortable room had beautiful garden views.

Charming manor, beautiful grounds, with lovely gardens to explore and a good swimming pool, made our stay refreshing and enjoyable.

Absolutely loved the fine gardens and the peaceful atmosphere! The whole place is a charming 1930s manor where you can easily lose track of time among the trees and plants.

But, bless their hearts, the bedding looked like it time-traveled from the 1930s too! No air conditioning-guess they prefer the 'natural sauna' style!

We liked the convenience of the deluxe queen room, which came equipped with an electric kettle, central heating, and a work desk. the hotel was adjacent to the amazing Hamilton Gardens, beautiful grounds with a lot of history and more activities nearby.
